DEPO, POSKOTA.CO.ID – Penemuan mayat membusuk yang diduga bayi di runway Jalan Tanah Baru, Kecamatan Beji, Kota Depok, Jumat, 5 Juni 2026 malam, akhirnya dipastikan bukan jasad manusia. Hasil penyelidikan tim penyidik, yang ditemukan adalah jasad kucing.
Kepastian ini diberikan polisi setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut oleh tim dokter forensik di RS Bhayangkara Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Cimanggis, Kota Depok.
Kanit Reskrim Polsek Beji Ipda Ahmad Lailatul menjelaskan, sejak awal kondisi jenazah sudah sangat membusuk sehingga menyulitkan proses identifikasi awal di lokasi kejadian.

Tim Inafis Polres Metro Depok kesulitan memastikan apakah jenazah tersebut bayi atau hewan, karena bagian tubuh tersebut tidak utuh.
Karena bentuknya sudah membusuk dan pecah, tim Inafis belum bisa memastikan apakah itu bayi atau kucing. Setelah dibawa ke ruang autopsi RS, mereka memeriksa kembali dan menemukan ekor kucing, kata Lailatul, Sabtu pagi, 6 Juni 2026.
Tentu saja bukan tubuh bayinya
Dari hasil pemeriksaan dipastikan jenazah yang ditemukan bukanlah jenazah manusia seperti yang santer diberitakan di media sosial.
Menurut polisi, posisi jenazah dan kondisi jenazah yang buruk menjadi penyebab kesalahan jenazah bayi tersebut.
“Itu jenazah kucing. Saat ditemukan sulit dikenali kondisinya, perutnya sudah rusak sehingga mirip bayi,” jelasnya.
Polisi pun menegaskan, informasi yang muncul di media sosial mengenai penemuan jenazah bayi di kawasan itu tidak benar.
Berdasarkan hasil uji forensik ini, masyarakat diimbau untuk tidak mudah mengandalkan informasi yang belum terverifikasi, terutama informasi yang tersebar di media sosial.
